Crusher Body

Heavy cast steel upper and lower main frame. It is driven through a countershaft, pinion and bevel gear cast steel eccentric on which the cone head is free to gyrate.

Bearings

The crusher bearings consist of a combination of high quality cylindrical roller radial and taper roller / radial bearings.

Feed

It is important that the crusher is continually choke fed with a well graded feed material that is evenly mixed around the circumference of the crushing chamber to optimise the performance and to give even manganese wear. A surge hopper with either a chute or a variable speed conveyor should be used together with level probes designed to ensure that an evenly distributed choke feed is maintained at all times.
