Parts Manager:
Job Description: The Parts Manager is a proactive member of the dealership's management team, with direct control of the parts operation and management of the parts staff. Your main responsibilities will include leading and mentoring parts staff, controlling the parts stock and purchases, managing parts inventories for optimum mix, maximizing parts sales profitability and creating positive relationships with customers, suppliers and other department head within the dealership. You will be required to run an efficient operation monitoring each of the following: fill rates, parts staff productivity, profitablilty goals, inventory mix and complete customer satisfaction through frequent communication with our customers.
Experience: In successfully managing the growth and development of a parts department, you will be experienced at developing relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues. You will have the drive and determination to maintain effective company policies and procedures and run a busy department. At least 5-7 years experience in the heavy construction equipment industry. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a managerial position.
Benefits Package: Although challenging, this role is extremely rewarding. Pay will be commensurate with experience, but will include a guaranteed salary plus commissions. Parts Counter Sales Person:
Job Description: As a parts counter sales person, we need a highly organized individual to help customers and sell heavy construction equipment parts. The counter person will be responsible for assisting customers, and our service department with parts orders. He or she will work with current customers, prospects and colleagues to achieve the agreed goals of the company.
Experience: Successful candidate will need to have knowledge of heavy construction equipment parts, be organized, with good communication skills. Experience of 2-4 years in the heavy construction equipment industry, with 5-7 years experience in counter sales.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic:
Job Description: The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is a vital member of the dealership's service department. Your main responsibilities will include working on hydraulic and conventional cranes, excavators, loaders, and compactors, and other heavy construction equipment. The proper candidate will possess knowledge of these machines and be able to diagnose and correct the problems. Some travel will be required.
Experience: Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in heavy construction mechanics. Must have own hand tools.
